Why talking about cat window perch is so important ?
Many find it useful to keep the cats in the house, not letting them walk freely, because they are healthier and so much live longer (not killed by cars, do not suffer from dog bites, do not pick up infection from other cats, etc.).
Furthermore, being within four walls, the cat does not run away, does not cause environmental damage (not hunt, do not ruin the birds’ nests) and do not annoy the neighbors.
But does your cat like this way of life? How to make your cat does not suffer in such conditions?
One of the important things of your cat is to make the cat’s corner, where the cat could spend a lot of time. Of course, this corner could be a place near the window – because all cats very like to watch the street, watching what is happening outside the window, enjoying the sun.
However, you do not very much like that cat prefers the window sills or other furniture, because a cat can spoil it. In addition, they are not very useful and comfortable.
The ideal solution for this will be the cat window perch.
To date, there are many types and varieties of cat window perches. These are different installation solutions, finishing options and a lot of colors – thus not difficult to pick up cat window perch on the design space.
Many owners of cats, who have bought a cat window perch, converge in opinion, that they are very like cats and recommend purchase to their friends.
Your kitten would buy a cat window perch.
Data from the Field Signals More Species Facing Extinction; Congressional Action Could Ensure Animals Are Not Lost Forever
WASHINGTON, July 26 /PRNewswire-USNewswire/ — The Fading Call of the Wild, a report released today by the worlds leading wildlife conservation organizations, details the increasing threats and plunging populations of big cats and rare canids living in the wild. Faced with a striking loss of habitat and prey due to over-development of land and direct killing by poachers and others who see them as a threat, wild cats such as lions, cheetahs and snow leopards, and wild dogs like the Ethiopia wolf and bush dog face an uncertain future.
Eighty percent of all wild...
The leader of an animal-rights group and a Prince Georges County resident are taking the county to court over its ban on feeding stray cats.
The complaint was filed July 9 in county circuit court by Upper Marlboro resident Sue Brown and Bowie resident Timothy Saffell, founder of Prince Georges Feral Friends. Feral Friends is a nonprofit organization based in Bowie that supports feeding, catching and neutering wild cats and allowing the animals to roam free.
County policy bans the feeding of stray domestic animals, which officials say can cause a public nuisance as the animals congregate in an area for food. People caught feeding stray cats can be issued a $150 fine per animal. People...
Here in the land of animal companions and their faithful guardians do not call them pets and owners a battle is raging over just what it means to be creature-friendly.
In true San Francisco fashion, city officials areconsidering a ban on sales of almost all pets. If the prohibition passes, it would mean no cats for sale here, no dogs, no hamsters, no rats, no guinea pigs, no macaws, no parakeets, no cockatiels, no finches. If Junior wanted a snake, Mom could probably still buy him one within the citys precious 47 square miles. But forget about those mice for Dragos dinner.
The proposal started out small: prohibit commerce in cats and dogs as a way to discourage...
After two weekends of heavy drama/action films were moving on to lighter fare – and a romantic fantasy with Zac Efron. Anchorman/40 Year Old Virgin cast mates Paul Rudd and Steve Carell reunite for the American take on the French comedy, The Dinner Game, in which businessmen compete to see who can bring the biggest idiot to a dinner party. And if thats not your idea of comedy, Warner Bros is offering up a family-friendly action film with dogs and cats working together to take down the evil Kitty Galore (voiced by Bette Midler). And then Universals hoping to attract the older end of the High School Musical crowd with a Zac Efron film in which he neither sings nor dances – but does...

Before the early 1990s, almost no research existed on hoarding. Now there are cable TV series exploring the mysterious behavior disorder.
Some people cope with stress and loneliness by eating or drinking too much. Others self-medicate with animals – too many animals.
People who hoard animals have personality traits found in those with more familiar addictive behaviors, animal welfare experts say. But treating compulsive hoarding can be a long, difficult process that criminal charges alone wont change, they add.
This is not normal behavior, nationally recognized animal hoarding expert Dr. Gary Patronek told more than 200 people including social workers,...
Yes, it is another column about BlackBerrys. Over the years, I reminisced about When Life Was Simple and BlackBerries Were Fruit, sneered at those who take their hand-helds into the bathroom, and cautioned about BlackBerries on the Beach and Other Ways to Ruin Your Vacation. Leave it to me to beat a dead subject.
And there was a death. In fact, it was on the eve of my vacation when my BlackBerry died. There was no warning and no time to prepare myself. It was preceded by the usual pre-vacation flurry of activity — clearing out the in-bin full of back-piled periodicals, watering the plants and cutting away dead leaves, and plowing through the never-ending bevy of e-mails.
There...
We were not actually aware that people could hoard pets. Newspapers, yes. Trash and trinkets and even random canned goods — these are all odd things that people collect, then hoard, and then refuse to throw out. But pets? Go figure.
On the series Confessions: Animal Hoarding (Wed., 9PM ET on Animal Planet), we get to hang out with people who gather cute little furry animals. But these people gather them to such an extent that it begins to negatively influence their lives. One such person is Janice, who currently owns 97 dogs and 15 cats. Ummm … thats a lot of dogs. And cats. (By the way, excluding all the other concerns, arent the cats kind of unfairly outnumbered in this...
Peoples Dispensary for Sick Animals (PDSA) published a report showing that during the last four years, the rate of pet obesity increased by 21%, with expectations that by the year 2013 the rate will touch 50%.
PDSA warns pet owners of the obesity spreading out among pets, saying that although it is pleasant to have a cuddly pet, this cuddly pet, if kept on eating, could suffer difficulty in walking and breathing along with a rapid decrease in life expectancy.
In the case of having a cat pet, Sean Wensley, the Senior Veterinary Surgeon at the PDSA, stresses on the role of pet owners in keeping their pets healthy. Dr. Wensley suggested that an owner can put a collar around his cats...

Its easy to lob (occasionally) witty grenades at the filth Hollywood secretes on a weekly basis.
This column has its favorite targets: child heroes, anything with Angelina Jolie, most rom-coms, the undead and Megan Fox (temporarily), although my fingers are weeping as I type her name.
New on the Flicks hatin list is animal movies specifically comical, live-action animal movies in which the animals speak, but the humans are either completely absent or oblivious.
To be clear, Flicks is an animal-friendly column, with two dogs, three cats and one huge yet reclusive spider as its mascots. Incidentally, Im hoping the spider is reading and is planning a sudden and violent...
